Romans 5:5

And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

Founder: Kareen Dixon Stewart

Born in Kingston and raised in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, Jamaica, Kareen understands firsthand the challenges many families face when resources are limited.

Raised by hardworking parents, her father a carpenter and her mother employed in the restaurant industry, she learned early the importance of perseverance, compassion, and faith.

Driven by a passion to serve others, Kareen pursued a career in nursing, overcoming obstacles with determination and resilience. Today, she is not only a dedicated nurse known for her empathy and commitment to patient care, but also a passionate community leader devoted to uplifting those in need.

Through A Ray of Hope Outreach Ministries Inc., Kareen continues to give back by supporting families, empowering children, and creating opportunities for underserved communities. Her journey is a powerful testimony that with faith, hard work, and a heart for people, one person can truly make a lasting difference.

Back To School Treat

For many families, the Back-to-School Treat has become more than just an annual event; it has become a blessing and a source of hope.

Since 2014 this outreach initiative has helped ease the financial burden of back-to-school expenses by providing essential school supplies, support, and encouragement to children and families in need.

We are deeply grateful for the continued love, generosity, and kindness shown to our community each year. Because of your support, countless children are able to return to school feeling prepared, confident, and inspired for a brighter future.

Together, we are making a difference; one child, one family, and one community at a time
